Border Songs

Funny, charming story about an unlikely Border Patrol member who is more comfortable with nature than with his coworkers. The author weaves in several side stories about the effects of terrorism, the attempts to strengthen border control, and the US/Canadian citizens trying to live with it all.

Da Vinci Code

While not the best-written book of the decade, it certainly was one of the more controversial. If Mr. Brown's goal was to encourage worldwide communication - he more than met his goal. Even now, it is very difficult to find someone without an opinion re: the hypothesis introduced in The Da Vinci Code.
