I actually found this book one day while digging through my mother's library checkouts; much of the time, she and I do not have much in common as far as books go, but I decided to give it a try after reading the synopsis; boy, was I glad. This book was a wild ride and impossible to put down; I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical fiction with a supernatural touch.

I got this book for Christmas, read through it once, then immediately started re-reading it. I don't want to give anyway any details, so I'll just say that this is one of those books that makes so much more sense the second time through. Definitely an interesting read, and not quite what you'd expect.

Hilarious, informative, and absolutely impossible to put down. One of my favorite books ever.
