Elephant Run

Elephant Run is a book that tells a story of some kids in Burma that are forced into hiding during world war two. It is good because during this time period the war was what got all of the news. It is a great way to learn about WW2 from how much detail they go into the concentration camps and their long walks to exhaust the prisoners. I thought that the theme in this book was to have patience. Overall I thought it was a great book.

Thunder cave may only be said to be a children's book but it would still be a good quick and easy read over the weakened. It is a story about a young boy who's mom is ran over by a car in New York. He then must go to africa to find his dad that has been saving Elephants from bounty hunters and he has not seen in years.

Ender's Game: Ender Wiggin Saga 1
by
Orson Scott Card

Enders game was one of the strangest science fiction novels that I have read. It is a story of some of the smartest children on earth who are recruited by the military to be trained so that they are fully prepared for anything that comes at them when they are in battle as adults. The main theme in this story was probably that with teamwork you can beat any one or achieve anything. This is a long story with many twists and turns leaving you lost if you don't pay attention. Overall this is a pretty boring and ridicules book.

Chronicles of Prydain 01 Book Of Three
by
Lloyd Alexander

Lloyd Alexander Is one of the best fantasy writers that I have read. If you liked the lord of the rings you will definitely like this because Lloyd Alexander and J.R.R Tolken were great friends and Tolken taught Alexander a lot about writing fantasy. An example of how close the two stories are is that Gurgi and Gollum are a lot alike in characteristics. They are both creatures that live in the forest and speak in third person. You could say that it is a pretty descent novel but I have not read enough of this genre to get a good grip on fantasy. The main theme that I got out of Thee Book Of Three was that if you try hard enough you can achieve any goals that you you wish, for example Taran wants to complete a quest, Taran gets the opportunity Very soon after to prove his heroism.
