by

This book was amazing not only did it help me with drawing clothing but it also discussed the different body types for both male and female. It didn't have just female style and also male and it explored some of the different stereo-type clothing. Absolute help to me, I loved this book!

I picked this book up off of my library shelf not expecting much. But the moment I started reading I was sucked into this wonderful story full of dark magic, Taggle the cat, a band of roamers and of corse Kate who is not as plain as she thinks. It kept me entertained and I loved all of the characters.

Farewell to Manzanar a True Story of Japanese American Experience During & After the World War II Internment

Though it is told from a child's point of view it still is very touching and you feel the pain and confusion that the Japanese felt as they were forced to stay in the containment camps. You see life before, during and after her experience inside the camp and how is always seemed to stay with her.

Interview with the Vampire: Vampire Chronicles 1
by
Anne Rice

I've always wanted to read a gothic, truly vampire story, and I've always heard Anne Rice was the one who made those books possible. I never really thought that I would find her book "Interview with the Vampire" at my school library, but when I did I was estatic. I devored and finished the book in a day and a half and I now know what a real vampire story is. Anne Rice crafted a masterpiece when she wrote this book. I highly reccomend you read it!

Night
by

Every year since about 6th or 7th grade, my teachers made me read a book on the Holocast. I hated them for that, I hated reading about the Holocaust. It was morbid, barbaric, terrifying, and tragic. To this day I still detest reading about the Holocaust, but my 10th grade teacher had us read Night, and it widened my view a bit more and I wasn't as narrow minded. Though I knew this I realized all the more how much the victims probably hated talking about it, hated reading about it and over all hated experiencing it. Probably one of the best books about the Holocaust I've ever read.

Snow Drop Volume 2

A truly intreaging comic that stero-typically has the battle for love. What is unique is the art style and the way the author tells the story. Making the tragic tale of Romeo and Juliet even more heart wrenching, and all the while you hold your breath almost begging that the characters make it through. A wonderful read, one anyone should pick up.

Though the idea is good it is hard to stay hooked with this book. I was sitting in a room where a group of people were watching a boring episode of something I had already seen and when faced with the decision of the book or the episode I chose the episode. The book needed to have a better hook at the begining and kept that going throughout the entire thing.

I will go as far to say that 'everyone' loves food. So in this amazing comic you see two diffrent sides of cooking. Pastry and Sushi. Doesn't your mouth water at the thought? Well in this comic the protaganist is the daughter of a Pastry chief but her dream is to become a Sushi Chief. What is her solution? Marry into a family of Sushi Chiefs!

When I first saw the cover for this book I wasn't sure I was going to like it. But THEN I learned that it involved the Amazons and I made one of the best choices I've ever made. I picked it up and I read it. The story is amazing and the way she shows the Amazon's way of life is incredible! I fell in love with this book and have my own copy sitting on my shelf. An amazing read!
