Good read, especially for those interested in mesoamerican literature. This book gives a very good account of some of the aztec poets were and some of their work.

As I had the ambition to start my philosophical thinking I wanted to take in the philosophical thought of something that was closer to home that Plato and Aristotle. These man made good contributions to philosophy, but i wanted to know what was the philosophy of my ancestral land. This book is where my journey took me. I have read this book and I loved every page of it. This book will not disapoint.

I really enjoyed this book. I am currently reading a list of titles that deal with the history of Mexico. This book made it on my list because it is a good source and general knowledge book on how the Mexica( aka aztecs) lived daily. i would recommend this book to someone who is wanting to know more about Mexico history, or even as just a survey to the Mexica.
