An excellent blend of warmth and suspense, this sequel introduces new characters into the already established cast of Goddesses Anonymous without beleaguering the reader with past dilemmas.

Two Under The Indian Sun
by
Godden
SharonB
, June 04, 2011
Take two young English girls in the early 20th century and plunk them into the setting of exotic India and you get Two Under the Indian Sun by sisters Jon and Rumer Godden. From the rousing music of the girls' Thunderbox Club to the summers spent in "the Hills" when a laborer stood on front of the train sprinkling sand to aid traction, this book is a delight of color, customs and life as seen through the eyes of the Godden sisters.

Funny and so true! Everyone who has ever knitted, is currently knitting or aspires to knit, plus any non-knitting friends, should read this!
