Love can survive anything, even going through Heaven and Hell. Bethany has to hold on to that love to return to her family, to her Xavier. Yet Jake Thorn has a almost true sense of love for Bethany, but he's still stained by jealousy. The power of love, from a lover, family or friends, can know no bounds. That power will always help someone find their way back home.

Oh, if you want fanasty and funny all wrapped up into one book, it's this one. I was a little wary of this book, but never judge a book by it's cover. Follow Micheal as he tries to lead his life how he wants to, no matter what. Read about Fisk, an ex-con artist, who has to turn a new leaf to keep his "idiot employer" out of trouble. Watch how these two unlikely guys end up becoming friends during their hilarious and incredible journey. A brilliant read for boys and girls, it will leaving you giggling and wondering what other troubles Sir Micheal and Squire Fisk will get in to.

Chronicles of Nick 01 Infinity
by
Sherrilyn Kenyon
Miss_Misfit
, May 30, 2012
This was southern style book I thought I wouldn't read. This book bring most common paranormal things, such as zombies, werewolves and vampires, with a mix of demons, and creates a adventure like no other. Nick tries his best to be good for his mom who sacrficed alot for him. To be thrust into a world of darkness and unknown can be a bit of a problem. When Nick has to save his classmates from a mistake someone made, he puts the trust in some unlikely people. I can't say that everyone would love this book, but I can say it may be enjoyable to read. If you like the paranormal, crazy computer/gun shop owners, demon friends and craziness in general, read this book. It will take you imagination to infinity and beyond.

Wintergirls
by
Laurie Halse Anderson
Miss_Misfit
, May 30, 2012
This story was powerful as well as distrubing. To see what goes through a mind of a broken teen, who lost her best friend. It brings light to what girls and boys face these days with self image. How desprately Lia wanted to be skinny, because she didn't feel good enough. Or kept trying to be skinnier for her best friend who died from the disorder. This diary perspective give more insight than a normal perspective could. The thoughts, the feelings, the regrets line up on the page like tin soliders. Each one holding a razor sharp edge. Lia was a wintergirl because she was living as she should, but she wasn't dead. She wanted to be frozen in her idea of a 'perfect body'. The bitter coldness of the thought froze her into where she was. Her best friend Cassie tried to pull her to death, but Lia relized she had more to fight for. Emma shows the stregnth that Lia needed to over come what she went through. No girl should see herself like that. Not even a wintergirl.

World of the Hunger Games
by

Now, this book may have not been my ultimate favorite of all times, it is still a very instersting book. Katniss sacrificed herself to the Hunger Games to save her sister. She mad her best friend promise he could take care of her family. The storyline may seem predicatble, but it will still hold your interst. Cianna, Katniss like personal designer, is probably my favorite character, along with Peeta. The Hunger Games are an intense game I pray our world never tries to create. It is a ruthless battle to the death, and no one should have to go through it. Katniss willing goes to them, to protect her family. I enjoyed reading about Peeta because he went into the heart of the cruelest pack in the Games. Just to keep Katniss safe and try his bested to keep it that way. The last thrilled for the book is the double suicide attempt at the end. I'm not going to tell you why or how. Read this intersting sci-fy book to find out. It will leave you hungry for more.

Go Ask Alice
by
Anonymous

, March 22, 2012
A book for teens that will send chills up your spine and may even make you question yourself. Who ever this girl was( I don't remember if they mention her name), she dealt with what teens now a days go through. Execpt she tried to face her demons alone. Her diary, so truthful, gave me and probably many other the insides of what happens when a 15 year girl falls into the rough world of love, sex, drugs, alchol, and independence. This book scared me a bit, because it put the harsh truth into the light. And, I can't believe I almost didn't read it. This book will bring a new truth to what we teens are pressured into and how to speak up when life is falling down. Just Go Ask Alice.

This book is very different, and yet, as compelling as any popular book. The story on the pages leaps at you, and you feel the emotions on evey page. How Cassie felt when her school turned on her. How she delt with the bullying, and how she stood up for her beliefs. It will make anyone want to stand up for what they believe in.

Paranormal is all the rage now and this book is all about the paranormal. Now, it may not be all that traditional, but it is a brilliant book. Not only does it have action, it has love, forbidden feelings, choices and descions. The world in the book surrounds you as you read and you almost feel as if you are in the world itself. If you want a story that leaves you amazed and a little giddy, this book is defiantly for you.

The monster returns, but it's addictive claws are as sharp as glass. This story, just like Crank, is dark, addictive, and almost disturbing. Hopkins can show to light the worst monsters and what happens when we fall trap to them. The lust, the alcohol, the sex, it's all there, and it's all twisted. Another story as dark and twisted as any other Hopkins book. But, you know you want to read it. It's just as toxically addictive as the first.

I may not be die hard fan of these books, but this one stuck in my mind. Made me think how girls and guys through away their virginity like it's nothing. I'm not judging them on it, but some flaunt around like it's a good thing to have sex all the time. I believe sex is something you should save fore someone you truly care and love. Because once it's gone, you don't get it back.

If you love fallen angels or just angels, this book is for you. Nora has no clue the Patch is her guardian angel, but he does come in handy. This book shows us trust and love can come from the oddest places and people. This book as some slow parts and part that make you want to scream, but it's a brilliant story that leaves you guessing. The emotions in this book are brought out so well, you could almost feel them yourselves. Now, just don't go falling for a guy with wings. He may already have someone in his life.

Twilight: Twilight 1

The movie give this book no justice what so ever. This story was amazing before it became a world wide obession. I mean, I didn't hear about it until seventh grade when my friend lent me the book. The forbidden love between Edward and Bella is what caught me. The strong passion Edward held for Bella, no matter the dangers. It may not be a tradtional vampire story, but it will still captivate the mind. The lust, the love, the passion, the dangers. The day ends, with twilight upon us. Will you be near after the sun has set? ~"But you see, just because we've been...dealt a certain hand... it doesn't mean that we can't choose to rise above-to conquer the boundries of a destiny that none of us wanted."~ Edward to Bella - Twilight

Back off, Twilight, here comes a true vampire. Not only does Shreiber bring out the best of tradtional vampire tales, she makes them sexy. This series is adorable, dark, and sexy, yet friendly enough for my nine year old sister to read. This story plays with the dark side of ones imagination and makes you wish you had your own Alexander. Raven can relate to any misfit or just lonely girl out there and give them hope. Why can't we all dream of our own Knight of Night? Just minus the fangs....maybe

A mermaid tale that can captivate a teen girls heart and mind. When a mergirl has her heart set on one guy, but ends up with another, this can only spell drama. But, many can relate to the process of the unlikely relationship. It's like back in grade school- he picks on you because he likes you. You have to look past a mask to see the real person. (Not to mention the cover art is gorgoues, I mean the blues and greens are quiete lovely). Love is one lesson we learn the hard way. This book will leave you awww'ing about the cuteness of it all and leave you wondering what the outcome will be. Let the tides take you away in this book.

Forbidden love, a gun shot, a razor blade. All these things have in common - bring three unlikely people together. The teens who know these have the emotions behind them. The pain, the hurt, the confusion, to bring a razor to your skin, or pull the trigger to yourself. The forbidden love eating at your soul and twisting you love. This story, a dark tale meant for older teens, has the emotions many teens face. Hopkins can bring out the emotions in a dark, poetic way. But, can even she bring to light the emtions and feeling behind the reason? A reason to act on an impulse?

Being a born bean sidhe has got to be a damper on life. But, it's not just the fact of being inhuman that sets this story apart. The confusion and the hurt adds to the loss and the pain. Kaylee feels as if she's going insane, with no one to help her. What else could she do? I could relate to the emotions behind Kaylee. To deal with a secret no one knew, to have to find answers to almost impossible situations. All teenagers go through it, but does the ending always add up to losing a life? This story will send chills down your spine and leave you guessing. What would you do if you had to save a soul?

Chronicles of Vladimir Tod 01 Eighth Grade Bites
by
Heather Brewer
Miss_Misfit
, February 29, 2012
Hiding a secret is easier than hiding your fangs. Vlad Tood is a typical 'emo/goth' boy, trying to survive high school. He's not the typical boy though. Under the passive persona, lies the heart of a half vampire child. After coming home to find out his parents are dead, Vlad has to grow up early. Now add a killer vapire after him, a friend of his dad and trying not to bite someones kneck, you have high school drama, fang style. The story here teaches you the value of freindship and how far it will go. How to trust someone, even if it causes old scars to throb. The characters inhabit your mind and the story leaves you comparing them to yoursef. This new version vampire story will leave you wanting to sink your fangs into more.

Predjucie plays a key role in this modern werewolf book, and it's the one key thats unlocks a relationship. Celeste can be related by many good hearted people. She wants everyone to be happy. Even if they are from the wrong side of town. This story holds more than just any werewolf book. Instead of gore and guts, it's fluff and love. You can feel the passion Celeste has for Brandon and the protectiveness and caring thaat Brandon returns Celeste. The dynamic story written on the pages shows tht you can overcome anything and that you should be your own person. When you would do anything for the one you love, then this book would be perfect for you. See the relationship between a popular, big hearted, girl and a 'wrong side of town' werewolf boy grow in 'Once in a Full Moon'.
