This was such a stunning book. Nancy has created a masterpiece in this one. A story of three young women all looking for love, I was sucked in from the first page. An Unlikely Suitor transported me back in time so completely, I had a hard time coming back. It is a must read for anyone who likes historical fiction.

Water for Elephants MTI

Honestly, I had no idea what to expect when I got this book. I picked it up for 25 cents at a thrift store and had heard of it before so I thought I would give it a shot. It did not disappoint. Sara Gruen spins an enchanting tale of circus life, love and, of course, elephants. I was hooked from the first page. I fell in love with the characters immediately. I cried and laughed right along with them and sadly waved goodbye as I finished the last page. A very fun and intriguing read that I definitely recommend.
