A Love So True

I really enjoyed Book 2 in the Teaville Moral Society Series because of what I learn about the cultural norms of the time in 1908, SE Kansas. This historical novel speaks to prostitution, orphans, divorce and of course, class division. There's an emphasis on forgiveness on many levels, reaching out to the 'unlovely' people of society, love based on qualities a person has and not what's expected of your friendships and loves, and lots of joy from all kinds of humanitarian and romantic developments. Best of all, I enjoy the surprises the author slips in! was given this book for an independent, honest review. Loved it!

Loved this book. My husband and I listened to it on CD on one of our cross-country travel trips. We learned so much about Azburger's Syndrome, a form of Autism. Jodi Piccoult develops her characters so well and looks at every single angle you could think of to present the problem and solutions. This book held our attention every mile of the road. A really good listen/read.
