I might never give another 5 to any book but this is possibly the best book anywhere ever. The writing is enchanting. The story is magic. The facts are brutal. It's amazing.

One of those that I found hard to put down. The story was engrossing and fast moving. My knowledge of the area it was written in made it fun and made me hypercritical (Really? A BRICK house in the heart of timber country?). It might be a 5 but I hate to say "the best" about anything.

Quite engrossing. Great characters. Good period stuff. Maybe it's a five but I have issues saying it's 'the best' about anything.
