This was the second book in this series that I have read and I really enjoyed getting to know Flint better after his brief scene in the last book about his brother Knox. I enjoyed seeing how the relationship between Flint and Liza evolved after their rocky beginning and the epilogue was fun as well. I look forward to backtracking to read more of the books from this series. I received a free ebook copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved this book and thought it did a great job of introducing the Dakonian world as well as laying the groundwork for the series. I have already read the fourth book in the series as well as the Dakonian Alien Mail Order Brides Series so I was familiar with some things but loved backtracking to get a fuller history of where the series began and getting to know Starr and Torg in this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book and reading about Torg's brother finding his mate as well as getting to know him better since seemed likable based on what we got to see of him in this book.

Wake Up, Wanda Wiley
by
Andrew Diamond
Chelsea Knestrick
, March 09, 2020
This was the first book by this author that I have read and I found it very interesting and well written. I enjoyed the various different characters as well as how the story had multiple plots in it between the characters lives and Wanda the writers life. At one point we even got to see Trevor in his original story before he comes back to the house Hannah is stuck in. It was also nice to be able to see things from different perspectives (Hannah's view versus Trevor's when it was the character's story and Wanda's the rest of the time) and how the characters were able to help Wanda break free of her circle of bad habits long enough for Austin to help her find clarity. I liked the character Austin and seeing how him and Wanda interacted once he entered the story. The last chapter takes place 18 months later and it is nice to see how things turned out for Wanda as well as her characters.

I Received a Free eBook copy from Author. This was a very interesting story and I enjoyed seeing how Darcy and Elizabeth handled having to get to know each other again while already being married due to Elizabeth Bennet Darcy having amnesia due to an accident on the way to Darcy House after their wedding tour. This story had lots of twists, a touch of mystery trying to figure out what lead to the accident, as well as both serious and light hearted fun scenes. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.

This was a really good book and I enjoyed the plot and seeing how Elizabeth and Darcy's relationship developed as he helped her but I didn't enjoy reading about how badly Elizabeth was treated by some of her family and the rest of Meryton as much. Lady Catherine was also not as bad as in many books so that was a nice change. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.

, June 09, 2018
This book was a lot of fun with several great scenes and I loved the way the author portrayed all the members of the Bennet family. In this book we get to see a new side of Mrs. Bennet as well as more affection between her and Mr. Bennet. I also loved seeing Georgiana play matchmaker between Elizabeth and Darcy. Overall this book was a lot of fun and as always gave Elizabeth and Darcy their fair share of trouble and misunderstandings before they could be happy together. The epilogue was split into two parts both of which were entertaining and helped bring a sense of closure for how all the characters ended up. I look forward to reading more by this author.

I enjoyed seeing Darcy with the Gardiners and his relationship with them in this book. I also loved Richard (Colonel Fitzwilliam) in this book and was glad he was in it as much as he was. Lady Matlock was also a lot of fun in this story but unfortunately Lord Matlock was as bad as Lady Catherine. I really enjoyed reading this variation of Pride and Prejudice and how the author created a world with dragons that seemed so easy to imagine. I loved all the characters and getting to know all the dragons and their different personalities. While this book didn't leave off on a cliffhanger and could leave off here I definitely do want to read more of this series to find out what happens next and how Elizabeth and Darcy's relationship will develop later in the series since they haven't reached an understanding yet by this point.

This was a really fun Pride and Prejudice Variation. I enjoyed seeing this Georgiana and how she began to assert her opinions to her brother and Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam even before she meets Elizabeth in this version. I also loved seeing how Mr. Darcy and Mr. Bennet's friendship develops throughout the story. I loved how all the characters were written in this book although I would have liked a little more closure with what happened with Mr. Collins in this story since he just sort of went away and nothing more was said about him. Overall I found this a very enjoyable book.

This was a really fun retelling of Cinderella. This book was really interesting and I enjoyed the fact that the author lets you pick what the character does at different points in the book. I definitely plan on rereading this book with different routes. Perhaps even all 8 routes eventually. This time I read route: 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9. I loved reading this route and seeing how the story unraveled. All the different characters were really interesting and I loved seeing how they interacted with one another. I especially loved Cinderella and her relationship with Ty.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book: I loved this book! The characters were all really interesting and I enjoyed the plot as well as the fact that the author changed the point of view throughout the story so that sometimes we saw things from Stella's perspective and sometimes we saw what Michael was thinking. By changing the perspective the readers were able to get to know the main characters better as well as meeting other characters that interacted more with one character than the other. It was really interesting to see how Stella and Michael's relationship with one another developed as well as how they each worked through their own personal issues through out the story. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future.

Unequal Affections: A Pride and Prejudice Retelling

This was a really great book that did a good job of exploring if Elizabeth realized she had misunderstood Darcy when he proposes and what would happen if she had accepted him with the understanding that she was not in love with him at that time. I enjoyed the way the author switched between Elizabeth and Darcy's points of view allowing the reader to see what each was thinking and feeling as they got to know one another better and as their relationship grew accordingly.

I Will (Capitol Theatre Book #2.5) by Lisa Kleypas was a fun and cute Christmas Novella as well as being the first of her stories that I have read. I enjoyed seeing how Andrew (Lord Drake) and Caroline changed and fell in love during the course of this story. Deck the Halls With Love (The Lost Lords of Pembrook Book #2.5) by Lorraine Heath was the first book from The Lost Lords of Pembrook Series that I have read and I really enjoyed all the characters as well as the story. No Groom at the Inn (Dukes Behaving Badly Book #2.5) by Megan Frampton is the first book I have read in the Dukes Behaving Badly Series and I really enjoyed the story and the characters. I enjoyed seeing how the relationship between Lady Sophronia and James Archer changed and developed as they got to know each other as friends while pretending to be engaged and then falling in love with each other. All the different words and definitions thrown in throughout the story were entertaining as well. I look forward to reading more books from this series in the future. The Duke’s Christmas Wish (Season's Original Book #0.5) by Vivienne Lorret was a fun and cute story with interesting characters and I plan to read more by this author in the future. I enjoyed getting to know Ivy thought she was a fun character and lively character and thought her and North make an entertaining pair. I enjoyed seeing how the two of them got to know each other and the various encounters they had that lead to their getting together and falling in love. I also enjoyed the occasional mentioning of the Frog Prince throughout the story was a fun addition and thought the end was really cute. Christmas at Blackhaven Castle By, Sophia James - I really enjoyed this story and loved all the characters. The Duke of Blackhaven's sons David, Terence, and Gareth were all really sweet and I loved seeing the relationships between them and both Seraphina as well as their father. I loved seeing how they all came together and became a family while getting ready for Christmas and thought this was a really sweet story and I enjoyed the epilogue at the end as well. / Governess to Christmas Bride By, Annie Burrows (Connected to "Lord Havelock's List) - This story was a lot of fun with great characters and I enjoyed seeing how Lord Chepstow and Honeysuckle Miller's perceptions of one another change as they actually start to get to know each other on a more personal level. It was also entertaining to watch as Lord Chepstow started to fall in love with Honeysuckle and then convince her he is sincere about his pursuit of her. I really enjoyed reading this story although it would have been nice if it had an epilogue at the end. I look forward to reading more by this author, especially the connected story Lord Havelock's List. / Duchess by Christmas by Marguerite Kaye - I really enjoyed this story and think it may have been my favorite in this anthology but it is hard to say for sure since they were all really fun. This is the first story I have read by Marguerite Kaye and I really enjoyed her writing and all the characters in this story were interesting and fun to get to know. I loved seeing how Gabriel learned to interact with Regan's siblings Portia, Land, and Jack as well as seeing how him and Regan got along as well. I also enjoyed seeing how the three Ladies he was trying to pick between as possible future wives (Lady Olivia, Lady Sarah, and Lady Lucinda) interacted with him as well as with the children. I especially liked Lady Lucinda and am glad she wasn't disappointed with how things worked out. I look forward to reading more by Marguerite Kaye in the future.

This book takes place during Georgiana's preparation for and presentation into society and shows how she grows from being nervous about being presented at court and going to balls to becoming a strong and confident young woman and discovering she is in love with her cousin Colonel Fitzwilliam. They are an interesting couple and I have not come across many books about them and I enjoyed watching how Georgiana pursued winning Colonel Fitzwilliam as well as their relationship once it began. This book was a great Pride & Prejudice Variation with lots of interesting characters and a very entertaining plot that grabbed my attention and made it difficult to put the book down. I also loved the epilogue at the end of the story. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Darcy's Voyage was a great book that I loved reading. This was an enteraining retelling of Pride and Prejudice that was full of unexpected surprises that keep the reader guessing what will happen next and draws you into the books world with its lively characters. This was the second Pride and Prejudice Retelling I have read by this author and I loved both so I am definately planning on reading more by this author.

This volume had a lot of great chapters & plot twists. I loved seeing how all of the characters and their relationships evolved throughout the book as well as getting to know more about them and their pasts, especially Sabrina & Shinji's pasts. This volume also introduced a new character that looks like he will add a lot to the story. Contains Chapters: 1 - 11 Chapter 01.)Wish you were Here Chapter 02.)Four Blades Day Chapter 03.)Spell it Out Chapter 04.)Grand Prize Chapter 05.)It's Nice to be Ice Chapter 06.)Going Once, Going Twice Chapter 07.)Web of Secrets Chapter 08.)Past and Present Chapter 09.)Shared Burdens Chapter 10.)Deep Sea Secrets Chapter 11.)The Four Blades Day Return
