Great overall read. Very personal touching story by the daughter of Walter Reuther. A engaging account of how the Uaw was built and became a movement for labor rights and social change. I learned so much about Reuther who was a modern day de Vinci for the working man.

Great book about the spiritual the material and how creation came into being according to the Vedic viewpoint. It is 18 chapters with purports or commentary on most of the Gita verses on the perspective of the bhakti viewpoint. Bhakti is devotion so it is a guide on how to link with the Supreme through devotion or service. Amazing philosophy and a great read to have going foward.

Bhagavad Gita As It Is Complete Edition
by
A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

This book tells the story of the Battle of Kuruksetra or better yet the detailed conversation between Krishna and Arjuna his dear friend. It explains that yoga or linking with the Supreme is the ultimate goal of life. It tells about the mind, intellegence and explains how creation was made from the aspect of the Vedic view. It is a waterfall on the mind of those seeking knowledge of a higher nature. It is a book that was read by Thoreau and Emerson and Ghandi not to mention Einstein himself. This edition touches upon the spirit of bhakti or devotion by linking with the Lord. It was brought to the West by Swami Bhaktivedanta who was a scholar and author of almost a hundred books. This book will keep you amazed and move to towards higher thinking. If thats your sort of thing.

Great book written by the daughter of Walter Reuther. It is very personal and written with deep emotional rememberences and depth of spirit. It tells the story of Walter Reuther - his life, his legacy, his footprint on todays world and the story of his family. This story is amazing and you wont find a book with such a personal spirit. I recommend it for any UAW or labor buff looking for an engaging look into the world and times of the UAW and on of the worlds most foward thinking pioneer's.
