Gone with the Wind

This novel clearly illustrates the Civil War era, especially showing how women were supposed to act. Scarlett O'Hara, the protagonist, defied those expectations. The writing was amazing, ad there was plenty of figurative language that deepened the understanding of the book. The characters were clearly developed and completely fit the time period. All of the pages were enjoyable. Even though the length was incredible, it is well worth the time to read.

The writing is beautiful, simply haunting. Every setting and item is clearly illustrated. You feel like you are there, you fall in love with the story even more as the book progresses. Each character feels real. You feel like you are there. Even though this book is in the YA genre, I feel like everyone would love this!

This book was amazing! The story was so touching, even though at some points it was hard to read because of the intensity. The writing was beautiful! Honestly, this novel was a complete beauty. Even though the book was intense, the story and the characters were written as if the author lived the events. Everyone should read this.
