Every year, the booksellers at Powell’s submit their Top Fives: their five favorite books that were released in 2023. It’s a list that, when put together, shows just how varied and interesting the book tastes of Powell’s booksellers are. I stumbled across this book on this website as a recommendation from another book I was looking up - (you know, the 'you might also like...'). The recommendation was correct! Although I cheated a bit and listened to this book on disc during a road trip, it is a fabulous tale of this young man finding himself through something he loves to do. It has great characters and wonderful descriptions of the Sound.

Refined To Real Food

I borrowed this book from the library first before buying. I think it is a must have for anyone even thinking about making a switch to a lifestyle of eating less processes foods. While there really aren't a lot of recipes in this book what you will find is straight-forward information about how to make the transition from eating "normal" (processesed and additive filled foods) to eating whole foods that are natural and organic. It isn't frilly or difficult but just full of basic information that will be needed for eating more healthy.
