Tantalize By: Cynthia Leitich Smith. At first I was confused while reading this book but as I kept reading it I understood it more. This was a really good read. Got to love a good Vampire/Werewolf story. This story had lots of action to it & twist & turns in it. Just shows some times you can't trust those who you thought you could even a family member or one who you start to have feelings for. Quincie, a young vampire who has become very mature for her age since her parents death. She has fallen in love with Kieren who is a werewolf to only find out from his mother that he has to leave soon for his wolf pack. Quincie works at the family restaurant with her Uncle D who are now looking for a new chef since the one who was working with them has been killed. A new chef has been hired name Bradley. Bradley & Quincie is doing a lot of work together at the family restaurant since her Uncle D is spending more time with his girlfriend. Quincie starts to have feelings for Bradley since he is the one who has been there for her and is making her feel good and special. Since she knows her boyfriend Kieren has to leave and she will be left alone with out him. Is Bradley to be trusted? Does Quincie fall in love with Bradley & let Kieren go? To find out more you must get this book. It was an excellent read.

I just finished reading The Accidental Demon Slayer By: Angie Fox. This is one of the best Paranormal books I have read so far. The Accidental Demon Slayer is Angie's first book and it did not read like it was her first book. It was very well written with characters you will not forget. I look forward to Angie's next book The Dangerous Book for Demon Slayers due to be released April 28, 2009. To all you Paranormal fans out there this is one book you must buy now and put at the top of your TBR pile. Angie Fox, now has a spot on my keeper/auto buy list.

Loved this anthology both stories were excellent. This was my first Nocturne/Paranormal read and it won't be my last. This was also my first read by both authors. Both Maureen and Caridad created a fantastic story with great characters who will have you up all night wondering what happens next with the hero and heroine. This was the best Holiday book I have read. I really did enjoy both stories and look forward to reading more by both authors. If you are looking for a great holiday read then Holiday With A Vampire is the one. This is a must read.

My best friend has recommended this book to me. I am very glad she did. This is my first read by these two authors. It won't be the last. I like the way the story flashes back and forth from the present to flashbacks of the 80’s and the main character’s childhood.

Pleasure Control
by
Cathryn Fox
Linda Hinckley
, April 19, 2007
In Cathryn Fox's first book, part of a three book erotica series, she introduces us to Laura and Jay. Laura and Jay are coworkers in a lab. The lab is trying to make a serum that will decrease oversexed men's sex drives. Jay decides to be the guinea pig and tries out the serum. The serum does not end up working the way it was supposed to, and this leads to some serious hot sexual encounters between Laura and Jay. I devoured this book in only one week. Cathryn Fox writes a very entertaining book. Between the hot, steamy sex scenes and her well drawn out characters, this is one boiling hot book! The sex scenes are sexy, and inspiring. Cathryn Fox's books are always a delicious treat to be savored one page at a time.

Carnal Innocence
by
Nora Roberts
Linda Hinckley
, December 06, 2006
This was a great book, one that kept you reading, and waiting for the next page. The author is fantastic. If you want to read a book that goes straight to your heart, read Stolen Moments by Barbara Jeanne Fisher. . .It is a beautiful story of unrequited love. . .for certain the love story of the nineties. I intended to give the book a quick read, but I got so caught up in the story that I couldn't put the book down. From the very beginning, I was fully caught up in the heart-wrenching account of Julie Hunter's battle with lupus and her growing love for Don Lipton. This love, in the face of Julie's impending death, makes for a story that covers the range of human emotions. The touches of humor are great, too, they add some nice contrast and lighten things a bit when emotions are running high. I've never read a book more deserving of being published. It has rare depth. Julie's story will remind your readers that life and love are precious and not to be taken for granted. It has had an impact on me, and for that I'm grateful. Stolen Moments is written with so much sensitivity that it made me want to cry. It is a spellbinder. What terrific writing. Barbara does have an exceptional gift! This book was edited by Lupus specialist Dr. Matt Morrow too, and has the latest information on that disease. ..A perfect gift for someone who started college late in life, fell in love too late in life, is living with any illness, or trying to understand a loved one who is. . .A gift to be cherished forever.

Face The Fire
by
Nora Roberts
Linda Hinckley
, December 06, 2006
This book was amazing! It really brought a good end to the Three Sisters Trilogy. I loved the story of Sam and Mia, it was very emotional and heartfelt. I really sympathasized with Sam. He had a hard choic to make as a young man, and when he finally knew what he wanted, it was almost too late. I actually felt bad for him. Mia wouldn't give him a break. But, on the other hand, he could have been kinder to her when he broke it off with her to begin with. I loved seeing the interaction between Nell and Zack, Ripley and Mac, and Mia and Sam. The interaction between the couples wasn't as prevalent in the other two books, and it was wonderful to see how their lives were moving along, what the future held for them. I know that Ms. Roberts rarely does a continuation of her trilogies (except for the Chesapeake Bay trilogy, with Seth's story coming out this fall) but I think it would be wonderful to see a story from one of Mia's children, or even Nell's or Ripleys. All in all, this book was wonderful. Sam's role was something that I hadn't considered in the other two books, and it was nice to see that explored and developed. As much as I hate waiting for Ms. Robert's books, Face the Fire was definitely worth the wait!

This Must Be Love
by
Kasey Michaels
Linda Hinckley
, December 06, 2006
This book is everything you ask for in a romantic comedy - finally drawn characters who are actually funny not trying to be funny. So often romantic comedies involve characters spouting funny lines, but in this book the humor seems natural. Jane and John are people you'd want to spend time around. Splendid from beginning to end. I can't wait to read more books by this author. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves romance with some good laughter and excellent characters.

Child Called it One Childs Courage to Survive
by
Dave Pelzer
Linda Hinckley
, October 23, 2006
Dave Pelzer spoke to the members of the National Exchange Club at their national convention in 1996. He retold many of the stories in his book detailing his life with an abusive mother, weak father, and a school system that knew what was happening and did not stop it for many years. Thanks to 3 special people at school who lost their jobs since they reported the abuse, Mr. Pelzer is alive today to tell how he survived. As unbelivable as the story may be, although true, it is a shock to know that the mother went to her grave without ever being punished! A very quick reading book.

Augusten Burroughs

I saw this in TIME magazine and bought it because i have some certain concerns about a person I love very much who I think has a struggle with alcoholism. but I endded up reading it myself! I don't think I've ever even heard of a "funny" book about recovery. But this was also really insightful and honest and painful and I'm very impressed! It is a book that I would say is incredible and not like the other books on this topic that I have read before. I would have to highly reccomend it to anybody who has an addiction or who knows somebody who does or even just somebody who loves a great read! I am going to get the authors other book, Running With Scissors, next because I've heard very positive things about that too.

Heiress For Hire
by
Erin Mccarthy
Linda Hinckley
, October 17, 2006
Overall Erin McCarthy is one of my favorite contemporary romance writers but at times it does seem the relationship between the main characters progresses a little too fast to be believable. Also in terms of sex and romance this one seems to be a little heavier on the romance then sex which is really a nice change of pace. This was just a really fun book to read. If you like contemporary romance and/or chick lit this won't dissapoint you!

Misty Blue was such a wonderful book. It had all the elements of a great romance, conflict, romance, chemistry, and suspense. I loved following the story of Damien and Mia. I was rooting for them throughout the whole story to make it to the altar. I'm glad they ended up getting married despite all the obstacles and intrusions they faced. This was a wonderful book and I look foward to more books by this author. I highly recommend this book to romance readers who are looking for a book with more depth then your typical romance novel. Dyanne Davis is a name to remember. Keep her on your must buy list!

Wedding Gown (Indigo: Sensuous Love Stories)
by
Dyanne Davis
Linda Hinckley
, August 16, 2006
I really loved this book, it was a real page turner. I was not able to put this book down. This book had some really good characters in it.My favorite characters was Keefe and Ashleigh. Those two were really funny from the beginning when they met. Keefe and Ashleigh had me up all night wanting to know what happens with them next. My favorite part of this book was, the whole thing with Keefe and his sister Mia Black. They were so attached to eathother that they kept eachother from findning love. It was because of there past history with their mother and Keefe's exgirlfriend who took all his money and left him. That was the one person his sister Mia had really liked and trusted until she did what she did to Keefe. When Keefe met Ashleigh all he thought about was that she is another gold digger after his money when she finds out the truth about him. Keefe and Mia didn't trust anyone, so when their mother came to visit them she had told them they love eachother so much and they would do anything for eachother. Also that they are afraid to loose eachother. Keefe and Mia Black had realize their mother was telling the truth. Now to find out if Keefe falls inlove with Ashleigh or does he still think of her as a gold digger, You must go get a copy of this book. Trust me you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance with some laughter to it. Thank You, Linda.H.
