hvnt even read the book or hrd of it, but snds good, knowing a clueless mans mind, lol all women shld def read. but we must rem, men are actualli far softer than women , i have seen my dad and some friends cry , for their loved ones, when a man cries he is really hurt. women use tears as a tool to get their way, but men. sorry for deviating from the topic, but the story snds funny and def a one time read if not more. ps: running title, as clueless as one can get ! life is a rollercoaster but what fun without someone to enjoy the ride with.

this book, what can i say, im still enchanted by the protagonist, he is fascinating with his whims, eccentricities, his wit , his sensuality, read it long back when i was in school, and still i can recall the book. remember finished in one night flat, addictive the book is. atlas shrugged by the same author is also a good read. ps: a collectors item.

Memoirs Of A Geisha Movie Tie In
by
Arthur Golden

this is one book, i can say is closest to my heart. the girls revelation of being a geisha is both painful and happy. i could read and visualise a geisha, dancing away, en epitome of bliss and beauty yet manupilated by the aristrocats for their pleasure, yet inside she keeps her love intact, that of a child, a mother, a lover. beautiful book. ps: if i was a man , i could fall in love with a geisha. even though she wears a masks all the time.

Pilgrimage
by
Paulo Coelho
sejalkanoi
, May 08, 2006
this book, i funnily read after finishing zahir, it traces the mans journey in search of the sword, forgetting what he actualli started the journey for ? his wife again just a silent spectator, as she is amused by her husbands obsession to become all knowledge, forgetting real power is so simple: love! the book though well written, tends to drag a little and gets a little boring, but still i enjoyed the book. read it twice, and then read zahir again. ps: the end of a journey is not always a reward. can just be the journey itself, just the ups and downs of the experience.

Zahir

this book touched me in a way i thought only a human or an animal could touch . i read it at a time when i was the lowest in my life, i would say at the brink of leaving everything and running away. i am talking about december last year, but after i read this book not once but again and again, i learnt that its ok to feel totally blue, and all that you think is happiness might change, so one day u wake up thinking, who am i ? what am i here for ? and what am i doing? great insight into a husband - wife relation, i could relate to esthers feelings, a bruised wife who leaves her love to pursue her dreams, and whose husband onlt returns to her after he kills his ego and realises her worth. ps: most men have an ego that ruins their happiness. i wonder why ego in any relationship. excellent book, very well written, and best the reader can visualise the entire scene. my favorite being the cafe at paris, the opening.

The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference
by
Malcolm Gladwell
sejalkanoi
, May 08, 2006
this book though made an interesting read, it still could not explain alot of things, case study was good their approach of coming to a conclusion very good yet the book is cold and makes out human beings to be like robots, there are so many things you cant tag to a living being. i have recommended the book to sev people from diff prof and bckgrnds, and one relative commented whatever the book has to say can be learnt much better practically. cheers to the author for making an attempt but the style of writing does not make me want to read the book again. on the other hand sorry for a comparison but books like the alchemist though dealing with a different topic, make a long lasting impact. the author seems to know the human mind much better based on the sixth sense and not some lab case studies. ps: not all humans can be scrutinised under a micrscope like a specimen.

Blink The Power of Thinking Without Thinking
by
Malcolm Gladwell
sejalkanoi
, May 08, 2006
americans i would say like to rationalise everything in the lab, sorry relationships cannot be measured by a few questions, i do appreiciate their unending efforts yet they seem to have all the problems in the world. they want to perfect everything, on the other hand there are stronger family ties when we just live like a unit, fights quarrels arguments all part and parcel, in my opinion reading this book a sheer waste of time. makes you think from a different perspective and just complicates an otherwise simple life. cheers to simple living and high thinking from practical experience. books after all cant teach u everything life has to offer.
