This book is the best quality translation of the Tai Chi classics that I have read. The authors have selected Tai Chi classics in this book I have not been able to find in other books that contain translations of the Tai Chi classics. The breadth of information from this book has enabled me to better understand the movements that I have been learning in Tai Chi class. Interesting enough, this breadth of information is provided in short and easy to read passages. No hyperbole or extra "filler" information is added. This only contributes to the ease of reading, despite the tremendous amount of information contained in this book. The information in this book applies to all Tai Chi styles. For example, I study Yang and Wu styles, and this book applies equally to both. One thing from this book that I particularly appreciate is that it is all translations are from the old masters. The author does not give his own take on the translations. Since the translations are so simple and clear, you are able to truly internalize the messages, rather than simply adopting someone else's viewpoints. If you are searching for a book that truly will enhance your understanding of Tai Chi, I strongly recommend this book!
