About the AuthorJULIA MILES is the Founder and Artistic Director of Women's Project and Productions, which has produced 111 plays and over 400 readings and workshops by women playwrights. In the early 1960s, Miles co-founded Theatre Current in Brooklyn Heights and later became Associate Director of The American Place Theatre. She has co-produced Off-Broadway productions, including Elaine May's Not Enough Rope . She is the founder of the League of Professional Theatre Women/New York and is the proud parent and grandparent of three daughters and six grandchildren.
