the title girls at war is ironical. why do i say this? this is because when we look at the title girls at war what comes into mind is some girls in a war scene fighting .but the real story is about a war in nigeria and how the rich in the society take advantage of the weaker ones in the society to get what they want and how the weaker people in the society, in their quest for survival, strive against all odds to survive.
