The Very Hungry Caterpillar has been a huge hit with my three-year-old; I can't count the times that I've enjoyed reading this with her. She loves to tell me all the good things the caterpillar eats, and we both enjoy yelling POP when the caterpillar comes out of the egg . This book is such a classic, my now 1 year old has always loved it. We used to put his little fingers in the holes (and say chomp chomp) and now he loves to put his fingers in the holes and discover the colorful butterfly at the end!
