Wow! What a Great Book! It is full of suspense and from the very begining it keeps you wanting to continue reading. I think this is a book should win awards and prestigue, as it is detailed about the times of the people that lived in the war time. For those who lived in these times it would be a blessing as the times should never be forgotten, many suffered and this book will give them a remembrance. I would recommend, "Number The Stars [Yearling Newbery]", to all ages, young and old!

This is the story of the Johansen family told from the point of view of ten year old Annemarie. Through her eyes we see how Demark fought the Nazis in their own quiet way. In the 137 pages of this book we grow with Annemarie learning about what it means to be brave and loyal and a true friend. This book should be required reading the year before Anne Frank's story is read.

This is a great, easy read that I would definetely reccomend. It is a suspensfull and heart-filled story that anyone could appreciate.
