Baker, formerly a financial analyst on Wall Street and now a freelance journalist, looks behind the scenes to explain where money goes when it's sent to a mutual fund. She tracks the day-to-day life of mutual fund manager Jerry Frey for a year to give insight on a fast-paced world of high stakes and billion-dollar risks, and portrays the intense pressures and human drama of the markets.
