Phillip T. Rawles is an associate professor of Computer Information Systems and Technology for Telecommunications and Networking in the Nationally prominent Department of computer technology at Purdue University. Professor Rawles has won various student- and faculty-selected teaching awards for his performance in the classroom and for his work in developing and delivering courses in local area networking, systems administration, enterprise network management, and enterprise network design.

Professor Rawles is also the author  of Local Area Networks: A Business-Oriented Approach; 2nd ed. (2002) and Client/Server Information Systems: A Business-Oriented Approach.Professor Rawles has active research and consulting practices.

James E. Goldman

James E. Goldman is professor of Computer Information Systems and Associate Department Head for Telecommunications and Networking in the Nationally Prominent Department of Computer Technology at Purdue University. An award-winning teacher, in 1999  Professor Goldman was named as a University Faulty Scholar at Purdue.

Professor Goldman is also the author of Local Area Networks: A Business-Oriented Approach; 2nd ed. (2000) and Client/Server Information Systems: A Business-Oriented Approach.Professor Goldman maintains an active consulting practice.
