About the Author

Maryann Cusimano Love is associate professor of politics at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses on international relations and U.S. foreign policy at both Catholic University and the Pentagon. She is also author of YOU ARE MY I LOVE YOU and YOU ARE MY MIRACLE, bestselling children's books from Penguin Putnam/ Philomel, and MORALITY MATTERS: ETHICS AND THE WAR ON TERRORISM, forthcoming. She holds a B.A. degree from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, an M.A. from the University of Texas, and a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University.
