Chris Raschka received the Caldecott Medal for The Hello, Goodbye Window and a Caldecott Honor for Yo! Yes?. He has written and/or illustrated numerous books for children, among them three by bell hooks. He lives with his wife and son in New York City.

I read this book to kids who range between 14 months and 2 years old and each one of them love it. This book is a really great one and is easy for this age to get into. I love it too. It is so awesome to sit and read and after each page the kids are repeating each word.
