Synopses & Reviews

Please note that used books may not include additional media (study guides, CDs, DVDs, solutions manuals, etc.) as described in the publisher comments.

Publisher Comments:

This book describes the major aesthetic image elements-light and color, space, time-motion, and sound-and how they are used in television and film. Zettl's comprehensive coverage of aesthetic theory and his inclusion of effective visuals and examples place this text in a class by itself.

Review:

"I haven't found anything nearly as comprehensive and focusedà it is an easy book to understand."

Review:

"The book is a very solid platform for the beginning production student."

Review:

"I am extremely satisfied with Zettl's textbook. It presents the basic principles in a comprehensive and fundamental manner."
