About the AuthorPatrick O'Keeffe emigrated from Ireland to the United States in the mid-1980s and received a degree in English from the University of Kentucky. In 1998, O'Keeffe was accepted into the MFA writing program at the University of Michigan, where he studied with Nicholas Delbanco, Charles Baxter, and Eileen Pollack.
