I have the Kobo Arc 64GB and love it. For the money, you get a great little tablet and access to many Google apps. It's a great e-reader as well. I find it very easy to use. I also have an Iphone and would rate this right up there with Apple products. I don't think you will be disappointed and since you can download free reader apps, you can access any e-books from any format that you might already have. It's so much nicer to view things on this screen rather than the small screen on your phone.

I've had a couple of different e-readers in the past, but I was never quite satisfied with either one. I saw the Kobo at Powell's so I'd decided to give it a try. Am I glad I did! The Kobo Arc is a fully functional tablet, but I primarily use it for reading. I wasn't sure about switching from the fake paper reader to a tablet, but I really like it, as it seems to be much easier on my eyes. I also use the Kobo as an alarm clock; it has some really pleasant sounds (as pleasant as anything can be at 5am). Now for the best part: the Kobo e-book store. If you read in any other language than English, Kobo is your e-book company. For example, I found many great current Hungarian e-books at really good prices, without the hassle of purchasing them on Hungarian sites, downloading to computer, from computer to e-reader. So, if you're looking for a good tablet eReader at a decent price, I'd definitely recommend checking out the KoboArc.

The price is right to make this my 70+ year old mom's holiday gift. If the Kobo Arc is as easy to use as it looks to be, I think she's going to appreciate her first eReader. I've been good this year; maybe Santa will leave one in my stocking too.

I have been waiting for years for a nook or something similar. This does it all and won't kill my family to get for me. I have been known to read 2-3 novels a week. I have no more book shelves left. I want this item.
