Tish appears to be a normal 10th grader, but what no one knows is what is going on at home. Her dad moves back home, then leaves. Her mother tries to find her dad, leaving Tish alone to try to support herself and her little brother. Mrs. Dunphrey has assigned keeping a journal for her class. Tish writes about what is going on at home with "Don't read this Mrs. Dunphrey" at the top of each entry. Does her teacher read her journal? How does Tish support herself and her brother? Can she stay in school and keep food on the table?

I have not yet read this book, but it looks so interesting and i would love to read it! It is my kind of book definately! I cant wait to read it!
