Synopses & ReviewsBook News Annotation:This volume constitutes the proceedings of the scientific part of the
March 1999 conference, and consists of 100-plus papers and 20
posters. The papers cover the design process, testing, and tools for
design automation of electronic systems engineering. The sessions
follow four prime tracks—high-level design, verification, and
formal methods; low power design, analog circuit design, and physical
design; embedded system design, IP, and reuse; and testing. Subjects
include fault diagnosis techniques for analog circuits, VHDL-AMS and
HDL interoperability, hardware synthesis from C/C++ models, chip
package co-design, retiming, modeling of interconnects, and
sequential circuit test generation. The user's forum will be
presented in a separate volume. No subject index.
Annotation c. by Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews@booknews.com) Synopsis:This collection of essays provides a forum for the exchange of information on relevant issues and topics including: sequential circuits; architecture issues in low power design; mixed signal characterization and test; and testing regular structures and delay faults.
