We are all influenced by the environment we find ourselves in. We sometimes struggle with our pasts. Sometimes we fret about the future. But the only influence we can really have is with what is happening at the moment we become aware that things are happening.

In the Buddhist realm this is referred to as mindfulness. It is part of the journey of embracing the sanity we are born with. And when dealing with misfortune or impending death, being mindful of ourselves and our value might be the best way to find happiness.

Coming to Our Senses is about healing ourselves and our world by being aware of what is happening where we are, and given the state of affairs in the world today, the insights it provides can benefit us all.
