Compiled from the 28 volumes of CFRs that contain environmental-related regulations, this single volume contains more than 100 regulatory lists covering all relevant Acts, including the Clean Air Act; Clean Water Act; Safe Drinking Water Act; Toxic Substances Control Act; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; Occupational Safety and Health Act; Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; and Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act.

Compiles those environmental, health, and safety lists relating to hazardous substances that are often referenced in regulatory compliance and implementation literature. Most can be found in Title 29 and 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Some lists found in earlier editions have since been suspended or withdrawn, but are retained here in case they are later reinstated or revised. The regulations covered are the Occupational Health and Safety Act; Clean Air Act; the Clean Water Act; the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; and the Toxic Substances Control Act.
