Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

A good meal and a full stomach may still hold the key to the human heart, but in this gourmet collection of thematically linked stories, Diane Goodman suggests that desire itself can be its own dark feast. The Plated Heart is a deeply affecting portrait of the intersections between fine food and the unexpectedly complex lives of those who prepare it, serve it and consume it. — A. Manette Ansay
