This is one DELIGHTFUL combination of action-adventure and science fiction/fantasy. And has there ever been such a supernaturally-endowed character as "The Lopaqua?" Wait 'til you see what HE can do! Before you get finished with THIS romp you'll have visited Hell, and Area 51, and just about anything you might imagine that lies in between.

Its central character is a former SWAT sharpshooter for the Albuquerque PD, turned fraud investigator for a large insurance company. As you watch him go from one cliffhanger to another at an Indiana Jones pace -- from cattle mutilations to meth-lab bad guys to hit men to face-to-face encounters with extraterrestrials, and more -- you'll likely find the book almost impossible to put down

The tale is mostly set in southwestern USA, original homeland of the author. His insights with respect to that region and its inhabitants, including its native-American population (and one very compelling and unforgettable, although fictional, shaman) bring the book so much to life, you'll find yourself wondering just how much of this novel could be reality.

It's just possible that you might regard this as one of the most enjoyable novels you've ever read... and that you'll keep it afterward for a re-read in the future. (And -- whatever you do, don't reveal the Lopaqua Secret to your friends!)
