I loved this book so much I began building a 2 story fairy house and will hopefully inspire more people to build too.

Fairy Houses...Everywhere! is an amazing book filled with photographs of magical fairy houses constructed lovingly with all natural objects by creative fairy-friends of all ages. The natural art of building fairy houses was unearthed by Barry and Tracy Kane while visiting a small island off the coast of Maine. There in the woods Tracy discovered little fairy houses visitors had built, always following the guidelines of only using materials found in nature and not harming anything living.

Tracy began to spread the enchanting pastime through books, a dvd, and workshops. Now, the joy has inspired the creation of many new fairy house villages and an annual Fairy Houses Tour in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Fairy Houses...Everywhere! is filled with photographs of gorgeous real fairy houses in woodlands, on the beach, in meadows, in backyard gardens, in the air, and elaborate fairy mansions.
