Original red half morocco gilt tan linen over boards. With 41 color plates by Lansdowne including the frontispiece; 17 distribution maps. Housed in the original matching linen slipcase with morocco ends. Trace wear to the corners and spine ends. Both the laid in publisher's prospectus and the folded sheet containing the signed lithograph are thumbed at the edges. The slipcase is lightly rubbed and soiled. Very good condition. FF/beh
