With card laid in signed by Chris Bonington and seven other members of the expedition; previous owner's inscription on the front free endpaper indicates a visit to the Everest Base Camp on Nov. 12, 1972. Blue cloth over boards stamped in gilt. Light wear to the edges of the boards; lower corners bumped. Dust jacket rubbed and edgeworn with some chipping and short tears. Very good/Good. DAM/djm
