About the Author

Terry Pratchett is one of the most popular living authors in the world. His first story was published when he was thirteen, and his first full-length book when he was twenty. He worked as a journalist to support the writing habit, but gave up the day job when the success of his books meant that it was costing him money to go to work.

i've read this book in school and realy like it it is verry exiting and a great book to read, although i have only read the playscript vershon

I have been reading this book in school , and i dont think it is very good. The book gets going in the middle with a bit more excitment but it doesnt interest me. Its quite hard to get story line of the book at times and difficult to find information on the characters. Not one of my favourites of Terry Pratchetts.
