About the Author

Carolyn Strom Collins and Christina Wyss Eriksson are also the authors of The World of Little House, illustrated by Deborah Maze and Garth Williams. Both authors live with their families in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

Mary Collier has illustrated several books for HarperCollins, including My Little House Sewing Book, by Margaret Irwin. She is also the illustrator of a picture-book adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnetts The Secret Garden. Ms. Collier lives in Dana Point, CA.Deborah Maze is the illustrator of the first five World of Narnia picture books, all adapted from the original novels by C. S. Lewis. She lives with her family in Capistrano Beach, California.Carolyn Strom Collins and Christina Wyss Eriksson visited every Little House site and museum and conducted in-depth research on Laura and her family for this book. They both live in the St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota area with their families.

Deborah Maze is the illustrator of several picture books as well as a line of greeting cards. She lives with her family in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Garth Williams began his work on the pictures for the Little House books by meeting Laura Ingalls Wilder at her home in Missouri, and then traveling to the sites of all the different little houses. He also created the illustrations for Charlotte's Web, Stuart Little, and almost one hundred other books. This is absolutely the sweetest collector book! I just love it, I've got to have it. It's on my Mother's Day wish list. It's so simply detailed and I love all the recipes and crafts that are included. Great job on this book!
