I loved this book. I find her collection of short personal essays very insightful and they had a calming effect on me. Sue Hubbell writes about her experiences as a woman living by herself in the Ozarks - day-to-day tasks, beekeeping, entomology, and observations on the natural world. Her writing style is very personable and she expresses herself with wit and humor. She even made me interested to learn more about bugs!
