From the first page on, this book was a delight to savor and enjoy. The author explains why we are the way we are and what we should do to change that way one step at a time. After reading this book I felt I could deal (not fight) with my long battle of weight and even before finishing the book I've started implementing the ideas in the book and feel better for it. If you want to lose weight, live more peacefully, or just enjoy your life and savor every moment of it this is the book for you!

As a health practitioner, this is a wonderful addition to my resources for my patients. The synthesis of information from Zen Master, Thich Nhat Hanh and Harvard Nutritionist, Dr. Lilian Cheung provides a pleasant read that is not over saturated with philosophy or facts, but rather just enough to support their ideas. I would recommend this book for anyone wanting to deepen their relationship with food and the process of eating, whether there are weight struggles or not.
