How do you defy destiny?

Helen Hamilton has spent her entire sixteen years trying to hide how different she is—no easy task on an island as small and sheltered as Nantucket. And it's getting harder. Nightmares of a desperate desert journey have Helen waking parched, only to find her sheets damaged by dirt and dust. At school she's haunted by hallucinations of three women weeping tears of blood . . . and when Helen first crosses paths with Lucas Delos, she has no way of knowing they're destined to play the leading roles in a tragedy the Fates insist on repeating throughout history.

As Helen unlocks the secrets of her ancestry, she realizes that some myths are more than just legend. But even demigod powers might not be enough to defy the forces that are both drawing her and Lucas together—and trying to tear them apart.

Synopsis:

Helen Hamilton has spent her entire sixteen years trying to hide how different she is—now it's getting harder. She's having nightmares of a desperate desert journey, visions of three women weeping tears of blood. And why is she possessed by the sudden, unstoppable urge to kill the handsome new boy in school, Lucas Delos?

A love written in the stars . . .

A feud started in ancient Greece . . .

A curse not even the gods can break.

Okay you know I was just there lying on my bed with my laptop wide open. I had nothing to do, I had nothing to tweet about, I had nothing to type. What was worse is that I had nothing to read :O There aren't any great books that much anymore because I've read most of them, but then I met starcrossed. I was seduced by the summary, the main characters were so emotional and dramatic that I couldn't help myself but cry and cry when I finished the book.It took me a day to finish because it was that AWESOME! So if I were I would head down to the bookstore or maybe go online and buy that book cuz It would certainly make your day and yours truly ;) This book is deserving of 5 stars. :)
