Four Stupid Cupids (Hamlet Chronicles)by Gregory Maguire
Synopses & Reviews
When an earthen vase sent from Greece to Tattletale Club member Fawn is mistakenly broken, four tiny cupids are let loose on Miss Earth s elementary school class— just in time for Valentine s Day! The children decide to match their school janitor up with their favorite (and single) teacher. But who knew these darling messengers of love could be so clumsy? In his signature style, author Gregory Maguire tells this classroom tale with fast pacing, clever twists of plot, and laugh-out-loud fun.
"This holiday entry in the Hamlet Chronicles stars four mythical flying and bow-carrying babies who escape from an ancient Grecian urn and help some students mend the broken heart of their teacher. Ages 8-12." Publishers Weekly (Copyright Reed Business Information, Inc.)
When four reckless mythical flying babies break loose from the ancient urn Fawn's aunt sent her from Greece, the boys in Miss Earth's class squirm in their seats — and the girls start scheming.
With the help of these cupids, the girls' Tattletales club could make Valentine's Day perfect for their heartbroken teacher, Miss Earth. But they're in for lots of surprises, now that four cupids with rusty shooting skills are on the loose!
