Roald Dahl never disappoints. No matter how old you are when you first discover him, you are always in for a good story when you pick up one of his works.
I remember having this book read to me as a child, so it was a trip down memory lane when I read this to my preschool-aged niece a few weeks back. We had a lot of fun laughing at the three grotesque farmers who are trying so desperately to trap Mr. Fox and his family. Yet he keeps escaping them by the skin of his teeth, and then he hatches his brilliant plot that will crown him "Fantastic Mr. Fox."
Enjoy it, and try to track down the edition illustrated by Donald Chaffin; the picture of the farmers on the first page is _just_ right.
