Publisher Comments:

Bittersweet, funny, and achingly honest, Five Summers is a story of friendship, love, and growing up that is perfect for fans of Ann Brashare's The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants  and Judy Blume's Summer Sisters.

Four best friends, five summers of camp memories

Emma, Skylar, Jo, and Maddie have all come back to camp for a weekend of tipsy canoe trips to the island, midnight skinny dipping in the lake, and an epic game of capture the flag—boys versus girls. But the weekend isn't quite as sunwashed as they'd imagined as the memories come flooding back. . . .

The summer we were nine: Emma was branded “Skylars friend Emma” by the infamous Adam Loring . . .

The summer we were ten: Maddie realized she was too far into her lies to think about telling the truth . . .

The summer we were eleven: Johanna totally freaked out during her first game of Spin the Bottle . . .

The summer we were twelve: Skylars love letters from her boyfriend back home were exciting to all of us—except Skylar . . .

Our last summer together: Emma and Adam almost kissed. Jo found out Maddies secret. Skylar did something unthinkable . . . and whether we knew it then or not, five summers of friendship began to fall apart.

A young adult book with a friendship story that will last long after the last s'more is gone.

Synopsis:

In this sequel to Pilgrims Don't Wear Pink, our lovable leading lady, Libby, is back in another hysterical read! This time, there's an even creepier ghost story to solve, a more dramatic love triangle to untangle, and much fancier costumes as Libby and Dev tour the South with a group of Civil War re-enactors.

Synopsis:

Publishers Weekly praised the Pilgrims Don't Wear Pink author Stephanie Kate Strohm for "turning a strong heroine and a few surprises into a clever, tightly written book that will keep readers wondering who will become Libby's Mr. Darcy." This romantic sequel follows suit in high style! High-style hoopskirts, that is . . .

When history nerd Libby's fashion designer best friend asks for help selling his gowns to the wives of Civil War reenactors, she jumps at the chance to frolick on a nineteenth-century playground. But Alabama's no sweet home: sweltering heat, no Starbucks, a vengeful ghost . . .

And the boys? Miss Libby's got the North and the South fighting for her heart.

Synopsis:

Anna can't wait for her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a good job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. So she's not too thrilled when her father unexpectedly ships her off to boarding school in Paris - until she meets Etienne St. Clair, the perfect boy. The only problem? He's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her crush back home. Will a year of romantic near-misses end in the French kiss Anna awaits?

When first looking at this book you may be put off by the title. "French Kiss, is this book all about making out?" a friend of mine asked. No, it's not. It tells the story of Anna and Etienne St. Clair, two people going to school in Paris, the city of love. This is a wonderful story full of bright characters and a great setting. This books also has two companion novels Lola And The Boy Next Door and Isla And The Happily Ever After each one focusing on another girl and their story. While it is not a series I would recommend reading them in order.

So if you are into romantic comedies or are just looking for a good story then I would recommend this book.

So.... I have finished this book in a day. It was so SO good! I just wish I had the physical copy so I could hug it, because I would feel ridiculous hugging my phone..... it's too small
This is my first contemporary novel and I LOVED IT! Étienne is so just perfect!
I would recommend this book to everyone and I really wonder why someone hasn't snatched up the movie rights and has already produced it so that I can see the actor who- though won't be able to do him justice- will hopefully be close enough or acceptable, and of course HOT, or Beau (That is handsome, in French) ;)
If you haven't picked this one up, DO IT NOW! Drop whatever you are doing and start reading it! You won't regret it!
