About the Author

Jaroslav Pelikan has published more than thirty books, including the five-volume The Christian Tradition and Jesus Through the Centuries. Last year, he was awarded the John W. Kluge Prize for Lifetime Achievement in the Human Sciences. He is Sterling Emeritus Professor of History at Yale University.
