How can this book be so overlooked? A read-it-forward in Spanish and read-it-forward (upside down and backwards) in English about two girls with nothing in common and yet. . .
On is an illegal alien working the streets to send money back to Mexico, we watch her dress and prepare in her motel abode. The other is a blonde cheerleader candidate whose mother makes it clear she MUST make the squad to get a good boyfriend and marry and wealthy professional and have a wonderful life. So different, and yet. . .
