This is an amusing story about a little bat trying so hard to be a good bird after he was accidently dropped into a nest. There is a moral here too about how we can be different but get along together.

Sweet story about a baby fruit bat who becomes lost, lives with a bird family, then rediscovers her bat identity and family. A favorite of my 2-yr-old son. Beautiful illustrations. This is a book that deserves hardcover presentation. The best of Janell Cannon's books.
