This is a comfortable book. I enjoyed reading it and using it. As the author states in the introduction, "We won't examine every feature of the application but instead will focus on those that are the most useful, making your tasks of editing and organizing easier." New users of Aperture will find that this book meets their needs as it did mine. If you are already an experienced user you might want a more in-depth text.

This is a comfortable book because it is laid out and printed with care. There is white space, the photos are sharp and clear, text styles and boxes are consistent and attractive throughout and screenshots are used effectively. Conventions with text styles are consistent throughout and make it easy for the reader to distinguish and understand the material being presented. Between the Table Of Contents and Index, I found it easy to find subjects I wished to revisit. Overall, an attractive and useful book.
