New York Times Bestseller

Deborah Monroe and her daughter, Grace, are driving home from a party when their car hits a man running in the dark. Grace was at the wheel, but Deborah sends her home before the police arrive, determined to shoulder the blame for the accident. The Secret Between Us

Deborah and her daughter Grace were driving home from a party at her friends house. Grace was the driver of the car that night. She suddenly hits someone that was running in the dark,Deborah tells Grace to run home before the police arrived so she could take the blame for her. Later in the story this causes a rift between two relationships.

`I have really enjoyed reading this book, it makes you wanna keep reading and never put the book down. It keeps you on your toes at all times. The story is filled with so much guilt that it starts to make you feel like you’ve become apart of the story. The plot is very interesting as well as the theme of the novel, thats why i kept reading the story from the beginning.
The only difficulty I had with this novel was memorizing the characters. Sometimes it was hard to keep track of each person's background and who they were. I don’t particularly think that this would be a great novel for book groups because i don’t think it would be that interesting and the same topics would keep coming up. I think this would be a good book to read before you go to bed, or if you're on vacation and wanna read a good book that you just sink into and into and never wanna stop reading. I would honestly recommend this book to anyone, I give this novel a 4 out of 5 stars.
